In order to commemorate the killing of intellectuals on 5th December, 1971, a memorial named 'Monument Hirinmoy' has been planned in tribute to the memory of Brahmanbaria Degree College Professor Lutful Rahman (Jahangir) and other intellectuals of the death.On November 24, 1996, the foundation stone of the Deputy Commissioner was laid. It is to be noted that in the graveyard of the graveyard, the date of birth of the Professor's tomb is October 11, 1937 and the date of death of 6 December, 1971 and
