With Brahmanbaria sadar upazila, there are roads and rail links to different regions of the country including Dhaka.

- Every day Chittagong-bound Mahanagar Parvati, Gadhuli, Torna-Nishitha, NoakhaliGami coastal Express, Sylhet-bound Antangor Parabat, Suburban Express and many local and mail trains to come to Brahmanbaria sadar upazila.
Road traffic from Dhaka to BRTC, Sohag Transport, Tisha Transport, Uttara Transport and various buses can be done.
Besides, there are arrangements for traveling from Brahmanbaria city to Comilla, Mymensingh (Sonar Bangla Transport) and Sylhet.

- From the Gokarna Ghat through the waterway, the launch and speed boat travels for different times in the district for Nabinagar upazila.
